When you edit an album or EP, you don't have to fill in every file individually. There are three helpers for this, which you'll find above the file list. First, select the files, either one by one or with Select all.
Shared fields
Enter details that are the same for all selected files, for example album, album artist, year, label, genre or copyright.
- Only filled-in fields are applied to all files. Empty fields remain unchanged.
- You still enter title, artist, track number and ISRC separately for each file.
- You can also set a cover for all here.
Track numbers by order
With Track numbers by order, the numbers are entered to match the order of your selection. So select the files in the right order.
Import from release
Have you already created a release? Then you can pull the data from there:
- Click Import from release and choose your release.
- The songs are matched by title. You can change the matching.
- Choose whether the album fields (album, album artist, year, label, genre, copyright, total tracks) and the ISRC (only if it already exists in the release) should be imported.
- Click Fill into fields.
The release data is only read in the process. Nothing changes in your release.
Important: Filled in doesn't mean saved yet. Afterwards, click Save all changes.
